Can you believe it’s 2018?

I am excited about the new year and the new information I plan to share with you in the coming months.

I’ve lived the keto lifestyle for three years now.

Around Christmas, I started educating myself about a science-backed version of keto, and you will be thrilled with the results our new recipes and posts will give you.

Not a fan of avocados? Check out this keto onion ring recipe

Today I will share a game-day snack to help you stay on track during any football viewing parties you may be planning.

As you know, avocados are an amazingly delicious source of fat (8g per 50 g serving).

This snack is not only guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser, but it is also so satisfying that you won’t even miss your traditional non-keto game day snacks!

LCHF Avocado Pepper Fries

Keto Pepper Avocado Fries Recipe:

This recipe combines two things I love; avocados and the TABASCO® Sauce (made from vine-ripened, red jalapeño peppers over a pecan wood fire).

Did you know TABASCO® Sauce ingredients are marinated for three years in wood barrels before the sauce is bottled?

I think the flavor speaks for itself, but I love some trivia! 😉

Don’t get bored with your keto recipes!

Liven them up with TABASCO® Sauce. Tobasco contains 3 simple ingredients: tabasco peppers, a small amount of salt, and a high-quality vinegar.

Do you know what that means? It’s keto-friendly!

After you make these heavenly Keto Pepper Avocado Fries, you’ll want to pick your favorite guacamole recipe and prep plenty of that for the game as well.

Keto Pepper Avocado Fries Ingredients:

3-4 Avocados
1/4 cup coconut flour
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
TABASCO® Sauce

How To Make Keto Pepper Avocado Fries:

Preheat the oven to 400.

Bake for 10-12 minutes on each side (I like my avocado fries a little crispy).

Keto Tabasco Avocado Fries

Remove avocado fries from the oven and cool for 2-3 minutes; drizzle with TABASCO® Sauce and serve!

I can’t wait to hear what you think of this recipe, and remember, if you can’t eat coconut flour, you can always coat the avocado fries with almond flour!

Wow! I made these last night to go with our steaks. I was tired of salad at the moment. These were so tasty and so easy to make. When they were done, they were crispy and creamy and a little bit salty with a Sriracha kick. They were gone in no time. Thank you for 1) such a wonderful thing to do with avocados (I'm tired of making avocado soup too - ha ha), and 2) a way to have something like a fry that won't kick me out of ketosis, and 3) something that my husband and I both loved. Delicious!
