This Keto Creamy Bacon Veggie Dip is one of my favorite ways to eat my veggies, and I think you’re gonna love it!

Choosing what to eat each day on this low carb – high-fat diet is honestly something I can’t plan for at this point. When I decided to start eating this way I went out and bought a few foods that I knew would work well with my diet but I didn’t have an idea of what I would eat each day. The hardest part of eating like this is working out my daily fat intake. I have never been much of a fat eater, so I have to pay attention to the meals I eat, to make sure I’m putting as much fat in a meal as possible (without destroying the taste). Thankfully, that being the hardest part of low carb dieting is the best part.

Keto Creamy Bacon Veggie Dip Recipe:

I am never hungry between meals, and even when I go past meal time, and I know my body is physically hungry (because my stomach is growling), I don’t experience any cravings. Before changing my diet, if I got hungry it was like I was carb crazy. I would crave bread and sugars.

Today I decided to play around with my veggies. I love celery in food, but today I decided to make celery the main dish, and I needed something pretty fatty to compliment the meal. I have found at this point, that adding fats to veggies is the easiest way to sneak in extra fat without the carbs.

This is the simplest dip recipe ever, and I do plan to try out a few different things with it. We will consider this our “base” dip recipe, and we can add more ingredients as we go on. I personally only shop once a month so in May I will be adding lots of new foods to my menu!

Keto Creamy Bacon Veggie Dip: Ingredients

2 oz Cream Cheese
2 Slices of Bacon
2 Medium Celery Stalks

Keto Creamy Bacon Veggie Dip: Directions

Place 2 oz of cream cheese in a bowl.
Cook bacon and crumble.
While the bacon grease is still hot, carefully pour into the bowl with cream cheese. Add bacon crumbles.
Mix well and load celery stalks with dip or simply dip them in the bowl. I found that it is easiest to stuff the celery sticks because you can get all of the greases on the stick.
Feel free to use with any other veggies as well!

Easy celery snacks for the keto or low carb diet.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 oz of cream cheese
  • 2 Slices of Bacon
  • 2 Medium Celery Stalks (washed and cut)
