This Keto Avocado Steak Salad is one of my favorite go-to recipes. It’s easy to make and tastes amazing.

Keto Avocado Steak Salad

Steak, oh how I love a good juicy steak! If I could afford to eat it every day, I would. I probably wouldn’t because, for me, there is something about a steak that screams “reward”.

Even though steak is allowable at any time, I like to eat it as a reward. I will usually reserve steak for restaurants and on the weekends. It just feels like it should be a “cheat” food.

Easy Keto Salad Recipe:

My entire family has finally started the keto low-carb lifestyle, and this low-carb avocado steak salad is the meal I used to kick off the diet.

I wanted them to know that we would be eating foods they love. The older kids are having a hard time letting go of the sweets. I never really realized how much candy they are given on a weekly basis.

It’s not just candy, though, junk foods loaded with sugar and carbs are presented to them everywhere we go.

I have to take special snacks to church, throw away bank lollipops, and say “no thank you” to the charities collecting outside of Walmart. Sometimes I just want to scream “Stop trying to feed my kids!!!!”

Health Tip: Never buy shredded cheese! Do you know what they put in that stuff? Well, wood pulp for starters!

You’ll find it as cellulose and usually, some type of starch. So don’t please don’t use shredded cheeses. Just use a cheese grater and grate your own! Easy-peasy, right?

We haven’t visited our family yet, but I am sure that will be another battle. It’s hard to get people to understand that I am not punishing my kids, I am helping them.

Anyway, they were thrilled with this meal, and I thought it was delicious, so I hope you enjoy it.

Customizable Keto Salad Ingredients:

  • 1.8 oz Steak
  • 1/2 oz Avocado
  • 2 oz Iceberg & Romaine Lettuce
  • 1 oz Cucumber
  • 1 oz Roma Tomato
  • 1/2 oz Baby Cut Carrots
  • 1 oz Colby Jack Cheese Shredded
  • Optional: Dressing of your choice. I used 4 Tbsp of Wild Oats Organic Ranch -nutrition is included below

Keto Avocado Salad Directions:

  1. Fry Steak (in bacon grease)
  2. Cut and chop all veggies and mix in a bowl
  3. Top with steak and cheese
  4. Coat with a dressing of choice

  • 1/2 oz Avocado
  • 2 oz Iceburg & Romaine Lettuce
  • 1 oz Cucumber
  • 1 oz Roma Tomato
  • 1/2 oz Boathouse Farms Baby Cut Carrots
  • 1 oz Everyday Essentials Colby Jack Cheese Shredded
  • Optional: Dressing of your choice. I used 4 Tbsp of Wild Oats Organic Ranch -nutrition included below

Instructions

  1. Fry Steak (in bacon grease)
  2. Cut and chop all veggies and mix in a bowl
